Blueberry Update 8/6/26! 🫐
***SAD NEWS*** 😭
We are going to have to cut our u-pick season off even shorter than expected.
We had an accident here on the farm and unfortunately we have to end u-pick immediately.
Several of our main water lines to our blueberries have broken. We have a friend coming out to help us repair, but it will be a few days out. Without water, plus over 100° days, the berries are going to be toast (or rather, shriveled raisins) in no time.
We are working diligently to ensure the bushes survive…
I apologize to those of you that had planned to come pick this weekend or next Wednesday, or that we told last night that we would be open longer. We assessed the situation further and it is a MUCH BIGGER repair than we anticipated.
